THE EMMETT-T PROJECT The Boss's ride has been a long time coming. Emmett-T (the T stands for Technician)bought a Santee frame, an S&S 96" motor, and a Rev-Tech 6 speed transmission from Custom Chrome, and started on the project back in 2004. The bike was designed to be a daily rider. with characteristics from both the Cruiser, and, Touring markets, built into one Old School ride.
The project was finished in 2014, after filling in during the slow days in the shop for the past 10 years, and was built mostly from the Biker's Choice, Custom Chrome, & V-Twin parts catalogs. including 18" wheels with Avon Tires, A Delkron inner primary, Spyke starter, and Primo "Brute 3" belt drive. We cut up & re-purposed an old Road King gas tank. modified the S&S air filter backing plate to accept the round outer cover, Fabricated a dash, and a battery/electrical box to go in place of the oil tank that is now under the transmission. The exhaust pipes were found in the shop and reshaped, the mufflers are from a 1982 XR1000 and have been cut & straightened out. The list goes on and on, for more info on the bike, call Emmett-t at the shop. 229-446-0078
